THE GOKALS v RENEE LAL: Suva lawyer FINALLY charged with 7 counts of professional misconduct and one count of unsatisfactory professional conduct but her clients claim she is still PLYING HER LEGAL TRADE?

Fijileaks, which had taken up the Gokals' case, found that RENEE LAL was [and reportedly still is] allowed to ply her trade because the watchdog Legal Practitioners Unit was too slow to act on the Gokals and Fijileaks combined evidence given to LPU; the matter was called on 16 November before the Independent Legal Services Commission (ILSC) and the case has now been adjourned to 27 January 2016 for mention.
