MUANIKAU ACCORD and Amnesty: On 24 June 2000, the future Coupist and then Army Commander Frank Bainimarama signed the Muanikau Accord, and agreement between the Interim Military Government and George Speight, at the then Tui Vuda Ratu Josefa Iloilo, at Muanikau

Today, while George Speight who terrorised Fiji for 52 days only, languishes in prison, both Rabuka and Bainimarama are hiding behind immunity. While one is temporarily incapacitated in Melbourne, the other wants to become Prime Minister, with a host of some very high-profile individuals backing Rabuka.

In 1977, a group of Hindu MPs had betrayed Siddiq Koya, saying Fiji was not ready for an Indo-Fijian Prime Minister. They are repeating same now, willing to support Rabuka who reduced Indo-Fijians to chattels.
Sitiveni Rabuka began the rot, and it will continue, until we WAKE UP. COUPS have allowed those in power to get best overseas treatments.
