Fijileaks: Ajay Bhai Amrit began writing weekly Opinion pieces for the Fiji Times. That was perfectly acceptable from a media point of view. Now, he is a Founding Member of The People's Alliance Party, the Fiji Times must switch off his oxygen of free publicity. His most recent column, 'Why I am supporting Rabuka' is a sheer political propaganda piece, and the
Fiji Times should never have run it, and also the paper must ask him to resign as a regular contributor. Is he being paid for his overtly political pieces? Of course, he can issue press releases on behalf of PAP to the paper which is actively hoping and praying for a Rabuka win at the poll.
The same should apply to lawyer Richard Naidu, if and when he declares his candidacy for the National Federation Party. And that applies to others in different political parties.
